Who processes your data

This website belongs to Murtown, a home cattery with cats of many breeds ("we", "us"). We decide why and how the data you send through the website is used. You can reach us about your personal data via the details on the Contacts page.

What data we receive

Only what you type into the forms yourself:

• Reservation request: name, phone, Telegram username (optional), city, the kitten you chose, a comment.
• Question: name, a way to reply to you (phone, Telegram or e-mail) and your question.
• Waiting list: name, phone and/or Telegram username, preferred sex and colour of the kitten, a comment. If you open our Telegram bot, we receive the chat ID so we can send you a notification.
• Kitten handover: if you take a kitten home, we record what is needed for the delivery: recipient, phone, city and address or carrier branch, tracking number. You give us these details personally and only the cattery sees them.

We never ask for passport details, bank cards or passwords, and we don't use advertising or analytics trackers.

Why we need it

• to answer your request or question and arrange a visit to meet a kitten;
• to tell you about new kittens if you are on the waiting list;
• to arrange the handover or delivery of a kitten once you become its owner.

We don't sell your data, don't share it for advertising and don't send newsletters you didn't agree to.

Legal basis

We process your data based on the consent you give by ticking the box in the form, in line with the Law of Ukraine "On Personal Data Protection". For visitors from the EU the legal bases are consent and steps taken at your request before a possible contract (Art. 6(1)(a) and 6(1)(b) GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time; this doesn't affect processing that happened before.

Where the data is stored and who sees it

• The website is hosted on Vercel, and form data and photos are stored in a Supabase database and storage. Their servers may be located outside Ukraine. These services process data only to run the website.
• The cattery owner gets a Telegram notification about each new request or question.
• Only the cattery owner can open the cabinet with your data, after signing in with a personal login.
• Data travels over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Database access is restricted by row-level security rules.

When you visit the website, the hosting provider may automatically log technical data (IP address, browser type, time of the request) to protect the site from attacks and keep it running.

How long we keep it

No longer than needed for the purposes above. We regularly delete outdated requests and waiting-list entries. Any record can be deleted sooner — just ask us.

Cookies

The website sets no advertising or analytics cookies for visitors. Technical cookies are used only to sign the owner in to the cabinet. Preferences such as your language may be stored in your browser so the site remembers them.

Your rights

You can:

• find out what data we hold about you and get a copy;
• correct inaccurate data;
• ask us to delete your data or restrict its processing;
• withdraw your consent;
• complain to the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights (EU residents: to the data protection authority of their country).

To use these rights, write to us via Contacts. We'll reply as soon as we can, usually within a few days.

Children

The website is not intended to collect data from children. If you are under 16, please fill in the form together with a parent.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle data, we'll update this page and the date below. Significant changes won't apply to data you already gave us without your consent.
